The Physiological Society Poster Prize The Physiological Society Poster Prize competition will be in operation at this meeting. The Physiological Society Poster Prize is awarded for the best poster communication presentation by an Affiliate Member of The Society at a Society Meeting.  Posters are judged on the calibre and clarity of scientific data, the communication of content and on the ability of the presenter to answer questions concerning the research and findings. The candidate must show that they have conducted a significant part of the work being presented.

The review panel will be made up of the Theme Lead, and selected colleagues.  There will be no fewer than three reviewers.  The reviewers will jointly decide and agree upon the winners. 

There will be two prizes per Theme; winner and runner-up.

Poster Prize Eligibility

1. Current Affiliates of The Society who are presenting a poster at a Society Meeting
2. Poster must display The Physiological Society Poster Prize Logo
3. Entrants may submit only one abstract for consideration for The Physiological Society Poster Prize. If the entrant is not the sole author, the supervisor should provide a statement of the relative contributions made by all the authors.  The candidate must have made a significant contribution to the work.
4. Previous recipients of this prize or the older Blue Riband Prize are not eligible to be considered again
